Clinicals and externships are an integral part of some programs, an opportunity for students to study in the real world, in a real patientcare or hospital environment, taking care of real patients.
So all clinicals and externships take place outside of the classroom. The facilities we use for clinicals have so much confidence in our instructors that they allow them to supervise our students. The usual practice is students are supervised by the staff of the facilities.
We have a relationship with many nursing facilities and hospitals in the communities we serve, so you can be sure that if the program you’re taking includes a clinical or externship, that you’ll visit one of them in the course of your study.
