Our CMA Update is an online course for medication aides who want to maintain their Certified Medication Aide, or CMA, certification. The update focuses on the review of classes of drugs, new drugs, new uses of existing drugs, methods of administering medications, alternative treatments, including herbs and their potential interaction with traditional drugs, safety in administering medications, and documentation.
Each course is a 10-hour, self-paced, online course for the days scheduled. In the second half of 2023, the following dates are available:
The cost for each course is $125, plus a 2.3% processing fee for each transaction. Complete payment must be received prior to the course start date to participate.
