Our Mission, Our Vision

At Mid-America College of Health Sciences, our vision is to become the premier educational institution where every student will come to achieve his or her maximum potential excelling academically in an environment that fosters collaboration, diversity, and equality.

And with our accreditation, we’ve taken a small but significant step towards that objective. We’re laying the foundation for the best healthcare professionals of the future by empowering our students with the hands-on skills they need to exceed the expectations of future employers.

Ultimately, we’re dedicated to enriching the communities we serve with the best trained nursing and allied health professionals.

Forge a Path to Your Success

At Mid-America College of Health Sciences, we offer allied health programs geared toward empowering individuals looking to take their first step towards a career in the healthcare industry.

The demand for trade and technical schools has risen dramatically in the past few years as many people in the current economy have sought other career paths, with options in the healthcare industry receiving significant attention. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, for example, projects that by 2029, the demand for nursing assistants will grow by 8%; medication assistant positions are projected to grow by 18%, and projected growth for phlebotomists is estimated at 22% from 2020 to 2030.

To meet this demand, Mid-America College of Health Sciences has joined other healthcare training schools in the community to offer a variety of high-demand healthcare programs that will fill these needs and get individuals on the path to rewarding careers in the healthcare industry.

We also offer cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) training that prepares both healthcare and non-healthcare professionals to respond to emergency situations while waiting for emergency first responders. CPR/BLS certification transforms bystanders into lifesavers and provides individuals with the tools needed to take swift and potentially life-saving action.
